MEMORANDUM SIGNED WITH THE ASSOCIATION OF GAS MARKET OF UKRAINE

Given the need and importance of: ensuring energy security as a key component of economic security of Ukraine, Europe and Asia; taking measures aimed at preventing economic threats to energy security, in particular those related  to the lack of investment resources necessary for the development, modernization and technical support of reliable operation of the energy complex; prevention and avoidance of discriminatory measures against energy market participants both within Ukraine and at the international level, a memorandum of cooperation was signed between the Baltic-Black Sea Economic Forum and the Association of Gas Market of Ukraine today (June 18) in Kyiv.

On the part of the forum, the memorandum was signed by Chairman of the Board Viktor Popov, on the part of the Association  — by Chairman Denis Senektutov (in the photo — the first on the right).

The Association of Gas Market of Ukraine is one of the most reputed branch organizations, which unites 16 (sixteen) specialized enterprises operating in the gas market of Ukraine.

With the signing of the memorandum, the parties provided additional communication opportunities aimed at addressing issues related to the development of the Ukrainian and international gas market, international cooperation in gas supply, maintenance of gas networks and energy security as part of the economy, improvement and synchronization of regulatory and legislative bases of Ukraine and partner countries located in the water areas of the Baltic, Black and Caspian Seas.
