PROSPECTS FOR AZERBAIJANI BUSINESS PARTICIPATION IN UKRAINE'S RECOVERY PROJECTS

A working meeting was held between Volodymyr Makukhа, Chairman of the Board of the Baltic-Black Sea Economic Forum, and Jalal Huseynov, President of the Ukrainian-Azerbaijani Business Association "Libra."

During the meeting, various cooperation formats were discussed and a preliminary plan for joint actions aimed at deepening cooperation between Ukrainian and Azerbaijani business representatives was agreed upon.

Separately, the importance of establishing closer communication on potential joint projects aimed at restoring the Ukrainian economy, particularly in the frontline regions that suffered the most during the war, was discussed.

In particular, preliminary developments by those initiating the creation of industrial parks in the Kherson region and the prospects for the possible participation of Azerbaijani business representatives in their implementation were discussed. As Jallal Huseynov noted, Azerbaijan has successful projects for the creation and development of industrial parks, particularly in the city of Sumgait, whose experience should be utilized given the Ukrainian realities.
