INDUSTRIAL PARKS AS ONE OF THE EFFECTIVE RECIPES FOR RECOVERING THE ECONOMY OF FRONTLINE REGIONS.
Restoring the infrastructure and economy of Ukraine, which suffered significantly from the military aggression unleashed by the Russian Federation, is important not only for ensuring the stability and security of Ukraine itself, but is also an important segment of ensuring stability and security (including food) for third countries. It was in this aspect that the forum participants focused their attention.
The systematic nature of the work aimed at helping to restore both the infrastructure of Ukraine and its economy was noted in their speeches by the Ambassador-at-Large for the Coordination of the Restoration of Ukraine in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania Darius Skusevichus and the Secretary of the Economic Department of the Embassy of Poland in Ukraine Katarzyna Kalinowska, who not only acquainted the participants with the results of the projects already being implemented.
Separately, it is necessary to note the presentation of projects for the creation of Industrial Parks in the territory of the Kherson district of the Kherson region, which were presented by the Honorary Consul of the Republic of Lithuania in the Kherson region Viktor Popov. Their relevance and importance for the almost completely destroyed Kherson region were defined by the forum participants as one of the most promising recipes for restoring the region's economy; as one of the pilot projects, the experience of which can be used in determining plans for the restoration of the territories of Ukraine most affected by the military actions.
The importance of such projects for the development of urban territorial communities, the experience of the city of Klaipeda and the functioning of the created free economic zone of the same name, was discussed by the deputy of the Seimas of the Republic of Lithuania Vytautas Grubliauskas.
The timeliness and importance of the proposed projects for the frontline Kherson region, whose infrastructure has suffered significantly from the daily shelling of the Russian occupiers, was emphasized by the head of the Kherson district military administration Mykhailo Linetskyі.
