PARTNERSHIP IN ACTION: LITHUANIAN CITY VISAGINAS ORGANIZED VACATION FOR CHILDREN FROM UKRAINIAN CITY НOLA PRYSTAN

In May 2025, during the final part of the 7th Baltic-Black Sea Economic Forum, the first step towards a multifaceted partnership between the cities was legally confirmed: Lithuanian Visaginas and Ukrainian Нola Prystan.
And already this month, at the invitation of Lithuanian friends, the first to go to the city of Visaginas were children who survived the horror of the occupation of their native Нola Prystan and the flooding of the city after the Russian occupiers blew up the Kakhovka Hydroelectric Power Station, and the difficult evacuation to the free territory of Ukraine.
For them, the authorities of this young Lithuanian city (this month Visaginas turned 50) organized a vacation and an interesting rehabilitation program.
Today, during one of the creative events organized within the framework of this program of their recreation and rehabilitation, a meeting took place between children from the city of Нola Pristan and the accompanying head of the department of Нola Pristan city military administration Tatyana Melikhova with the mayor of the city of Visaginas Erlandas Galaguz and his deputy Vitalius Besakirskas.
