WORKING MEETING WITH THE SPEAKER OF THE LITHUANIAN SEIMAS

Today, a lengthy working meeting was held between Volodymyr Makukha, Chairman of the Board of the Baltic-Black Sea Economic Forum (Baltic-Black Sea-Caspian Forum), and the forum's leader in Lithuania, Member of the Seimas of the Republic of Lithuania Vytautas Grubliauskas, with Speaker of the Seimas Juozas Olekas.

Among the many issues discussed, special attention was paid to assistance and support for Ukraine, ensuring its resilience, and the importance of developing effective programs and projects for restoring the Ukrainian economy after the end of the war, with a particular emphasis on regions located near the demarcation line, particularly the Kherson region.

The current work plans of the international team of the Baltic-Black Sea Economic Forum, its role in ensuring effective communication, and assistance in establishing and developing effective cooperation networks from the Baltic Sea region to the countries of Central Asia were discussed. During the discussion of plans for the next 8th Baltic-Black Sea Economic Forum (2nd Baltic-Black Sea-Caspian Forum), which Lithuania will host on a rotating schedule, basic organizational matters were determined and an agreement was reached on the patronage of the Speaker of the Seimas over its preparation.
