A COOPERATION AGREEMENT WAS SIGNED WITH THE CONFEDERATION OF LITHUANIAN INDUSTRIALISTS

Today, the procedure for concluding a cooperation agreement between the Baltic-Black Sea Economic Forum (Baltic-Black Sea-Caspian Forum) and the Confederation of Industrialists of Lithuania was completed.

The agreement was signed on behalf of the forum by Volodymyr Makukha, Chairman of the Board, and on behalf of the Confederation of Industrialists by Vidmantas Janulevicius, President.

At the initiative of the Lithuanian side, given its significance, the signing ceremony was held on the premises of the Seimas of the Republic of Lithuania. The following persons participated (in addition to the Chairman of the Forum and the President of the Confederation of Industrialists of Lithuania):

Juozas Olekas – Speaker of the Seimas of the Republic of Lithuania 

Vytautas Grubliauskas, Member of the Seimas of the Republic of Lithuania, Committee Head, and Leader of the Baltic-Black Sea Economic Forum in Lithuania;

Saulius Luscikas, Member of the Seimas of the Republic of Lithuania, Head of the Lithuania-Ukraine Interparliamentary Group;

Ricardas Degutis, Former Deputy Minister of Transport of Lithuania and Advisor to the Speaker of the Seimas of the Republic of Lithuania;

Aivaras Karalius, Chairman of the Lithuanian-Ukrainian Business Council of the Lithuanian Confederation of Industrialists;

Remigijus Kabecius, Director of the Business Councils of the Lithuanian Confederation of Industrialists.

During his address to the audience, Speaker of the Seimas of the Republic of Lithuania Juozas Olekas emphasized the importance of signing this cooperation agreement, which represents a powerful step forward in combining the capabilities of the Lithuanian Confederation of Industrialists and the Baltic-Black Sea Economic Forum to effectively develop cooperation and implement joint projects from Asian countries. Separately, the Speaker of the Lithuanian Parliament addressed the issues of organizing Lithuania's assistance to Ukraine, the importance of paying attention to the systemic nature of this process, and the importance of developing effective programs for the restoration of Ukraine after the war, drawing attention to the advisability of considering the possibility of focusing such assistance on a specific region, possibly Kherson.
